We recently had an awesome unicorn party at our house full of lots of glitter and holographic sparkle! Since the party included an awesome pink and purple paint fight, I thought it would be a good idea to make t-shirts for each of the guests to wear.
I love how my Silhouette makes it so easy to whip up custom tees like these to make parties and events extra special! I also made each guest a simple no-sew tutu and unicorn headband to wear at the party.
Out of each of those little projects, the Unicorn Squad shirts were definitely the easiest to put together, and they are something these kids can continue to wear long after the party. Want to make your own Unicorn Squad shirts? I have everything you need (including the free unicorn cut files) for you below. 🙂
DIY Unicorn Squad T-Shirt Supplies:
- Plain White T-Shirts
- Silhouette, Cricut, or other cutting machine
- Siser Holographic Heat Transfer Vinyl (I used Crystal)
- Siser Easyweed Heat Transfer Vinyl (I used Lavender and Mint)
- Iron, EasyPress, or Heat Press
- My Free Unicorn SVG Cut File (get it from the link below)
To make the shirts, all you need to do is cut the designs from your vinyl using your Silhouette, Cricut, or other cutter, and then apply the vinyl to you tee. If you are new to working with iron on vinyl, then be sure to check out my beginner’s guide to heat transfer vinyl right HERE. It will walk you through each little step. Because this design uses two colors, you might also want to check out my guide to cutting by color in Silhouette right HERE.
