Christmas Eve Traditions

One of the best things about Christmas is traditions, right? I mean, I love trying and experiencing new things too, but there is something so comforting and wonderful about re-watching a favoring movie every year (White Christmas is my go to) or sharing a favorite activity or food with loved ones.

For the past few years, our Christmas Eve tradition has evolved into one of my favorite nights of the year. We gather with my mom and siblings for take out, sweets, games, and a little crafting (of course). And it is very relaxed, stress free, and fun! Traditional Christmas crackers (World Market has the best selection) has become an integral part of that celebration, and something that makes the night extra special.

A few years ago we also started an annual stocking decorating contest, which is a lot of fun and taken VERY seriously.

Head over to the World Market blog to read more about how our Christmas Eve tradition has developed. Maybe it will give you some ideas for new traditions to try out this year. 🙂

What does your family do on Christmas Eve? I would love to hear about your traditions in the comments!

Happy Celebrating and Happy Making!

Christmas eve is my favourite day of Christmas, my mum and I always watch the same movies and snack on all of the Christmas foods – truly the best
