Are you hosting Thanksgiving at your house this year? We will be hosting again this year, and I have been have a lot of fun planning out and preparing for our colorful Thanksgiving table. I’m not a big fan of traditional fall colors, so I have created a table that incorporates some of my favorites – pinks, greens, and metallics – but still feels like fall.

I think that darker blacks and grays and the natural elements from the florals and the wooden napkin rings and namecards help to ground the brighter colors to keep it from going too spring or summer. What do you think?

This colorful Thanksgiving table was actually really easy to put together. I created a simple centerpiece / runner with a few bunches of flowers and branches that I picked up from Trader Joes. I laid branches down the center of the table and filled several small vases with flowers and scattered them along the table.

For the place settings, I just stacked my new fave pink and black Ikea plates, and then added a pink napkin with my new pom pom napkin rings and hand lettered name cards.

You can get the tutorial for making your own napkin rings and name cards over on the DecoArt blog. They were super easy and a lot of fun to make.

If you want to create your own colorful Thanksgiving table, I’ve collected the items I used here and a few more I don’t have (yet), but would love to add to my spread.
