Guys! Guess what? It’s my birthday today. It’s true! And we are celebrating big with this cute DIY Fringe Banner plus I am teaming up with some other May Baby bloggers for an exciting giveaway! Kristin of Yellow Bliss Road arranged a great giveaway to help us all celebrate, and I am so excited to be included. One very luck winner will be receiving $500 cash money, y’all! Woot!
You can enter the giveaway at the end of the post, and check out all the other blogger’s birthday posts, but first, let’s check out this DIY Fringe Banner. I saw this cute fringe banner the other day, and this birthday banner is my take on the idea.
DIY Fringe Banner Supplies
- 4 Feet of 4″ Fringe Trim
- Copper Glitter Cardstock
- Thread to match your ribbon
- Hot Glue Gun
Start off by cutting your letters out of the cardstock. I used my Silhouette Cameo, but scissors work great too! Punch holes in the top of the letters so you can attach them to your banner.
Next, glue your ribbon to the top of the fringe. I layered a light pink ribbon on top of a thicker teal.
Finally, I used my thread and needle to attach the letters to the light pink ribbon.
And that’s it! Easy Peasy – super cute fringe banner all ready for hanging and celebrating.
Now, who wants to win some money?
