Non-Candy Halloween Treat with Free Printable

Welcome foolish mortals, to day four of this fabulous Halloween Bash Blog Hop – over 110 fun and spooky Halloween projects to make! I’m excited to be joining in, and my contributions to the party are these fun printables you can use to make a cute non-candy Halloween treat. (Be sure to scroll all the way to the end to see today’s other projects!)

Now, my husband tells me that you should just give candy on Halloween because no one wants to be that house. But it’s not like I’m giving away toothbrushes or apples or anything like that! I’m giving away awesome-sauce googly eye finger puppet rings!

I mean, they are awesome, right? And, I think I will probably stick to candy for the neighborhood Trick or Treaters, but I’m planning on taking these guys to our church’s Trunk or Treat party.

I actually made a Valentine’s Day version of these printables, and when I saw they had Halloween colored googly eye rings at Michaels I just had to make a Halloween version.

Here’s what you need to make your own:

  • My free Googly Eye Gift Printable printed on white cardstock
  • Googly Eye Rings (I got the Halloween colors at Michaels, but you can also get them online)
  • scissors
Just cut out each card and cut out the little white notches as well.
Then, slide the ring onto the side of the card and twist it around so the eyes face forward.
They fit pretty snugly, but you could secure them to the back with tape if you want. And that’s it! They are all ready to pass out to your favorite candy monsters.
I made pumpkin and bat varieties for the orange and black rings as well.
Be prepared for a ton of awesome Halloween goodness as seen in the projects below… join our blog hop!
Simply click on each of the links below, for the Halloween projects you’d like to see in more detail and it’ll take you right to that post with additional information and photos on how to create it. Have fun and pin away!
