About two months ago, I went to SNAP conference, a conference for creative bloggers up in Salt Lake City, and I had the amazing opportunity to speak with a couple of friends, Colleen from Lemon Thistle and Sara of Confetti Sunshine, about generating and pitching ideas. It was so much fun, and as always, the best part of the conference was seeing old friends and meeting new ones.
One of the people I met this year was Marie Segares, the lady behind the Creative Yarn Entrepreneur Podcast and the Underground Crafter Blog. There was a little contingent of crochet bloggers there including Bethany from Whistle & Ivy, Tamara of Moogly, and Jessie of Jessie at Home. It was so nice to chat with other crochet peeps and learn from all of their collective wisdom (these are some crochet rock stars, folks!). We even had a little time to crochet together.
Anyway, Marie asked me if I would like to be a guest on her great podcast, and I said yes please (of course!). Marie and I chatted about some of the things we talked about during my SNAP panel. We discussed selecting ideas to work on, organizing ideas, and working with brands.
If you listen, let me know what you think. (And don’t be too harsh on me! I was nervous! HA!) Check out Marie’s post about the podcast right HERE or just click below to listen!
Happy Listening and Happy Making!
