Red Nose Day is coming up, which means it’s time to have some fun and help kids in need. I am sharing some free printable tags to celebrate Red Nose Day and spread the word about this wonderful, fun charity!
Hey guys! Today, I am so excited to be partnering with Walgreens to spread the word about Red Nose Day! Do you guys know about Red Nose Day? If not, you are about to learn! ? Red Nose Day is all about raising money to help kids in need and having some fun doing it.
Walgreens, the exclusive retail partner of Red Nose Day, is in its third year of raising funds to help end child poverty through this fun-filled campaign and is making it super easy for you to get involved. (I’m not kidding. It’s REALLY easy.) Here’s how you do it:
- Stop by your local Walgreens or Duane Reade and buy yourself a red nose for just one dollar. (For every Red Nose sold between April 17, 2017 and June 3, 2017, Walgreens will donate $0.50 each to Comic Relief Inc.’s Red Nose Day Fund, which helps lift children out of poverty in the U.S. and internationally!)
- Snap a pic wearing your new red nose and post that #RedNose selfie on Twitter or Instagram (don’t forget to use the hashtags #RedNose and #Walgreens).
And that’s it! So easy, right? One dollar and one silly photo later, you have helped kids in need and spread the word about this great program. The Red Nose Day Fund supports charities such as the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, Children’s Health Fund, Feeding America, Save the Children, and more, so you can definitely feel good about that #RedNose selfie.
One of my favorite things about Red Nose Day is how easy it is to get involved, BUT if you are looking for ways to do more, there are definitely opportunities! First off, be sure to visit Walgreens’ site for more information about upcoming events including fun facebook live events every Friday afternoon where you can donate and influence what happens live! Or, if you love to ride your bike, you won’t want to miss Ride On for Red Nose Day, with cycling events from Santa Barbara to Las Vegas and from Boston to New York!
For something a little smaller and closer to home, I have a super, simple idea to help spread the word about Red Nose Day, and there may even be a printable involved (of course!). When I was picking up Red Noses for our family (you know each kid had to have their own!), I decided to pick up extras for my friends and neighbors to help spread the word, and since a little treat makes everything more fun, I couldn’t help but add in a little sugar.
When I was at my local Walgreens picking up our noses, I somehow took a little detour through the candy aisle, and these cute Cherry Sours candies just jumped right off the shelf and into my basket:
They are kind of the perfect thing for Red Nose Day, right?! Just attach my simple printable tags, and you have an instant treat to give to friends with their noses OR they would also make a fun favor for any Red Nose Day party or fundraising event you might be planning.
All you need to do is print off the tags on white cardstock (download them here), cut them out, fold in half and staple onto the top of a snack sized baggie full of those cute candies. Easy peasy!
Once everyone has their noses, it’s time for some epic #RedNose selfies! Let’s fill our feeds with Red Noses! I can’t wait to see everyone’s photos – what a fun way to help children in need!
Alright, you know what to do! Noses On, People! ?
