Bubbly Birthday Classroom Gifts with Free Printable and Cut File

My oldest’s birthday is coming up, and since it’s his first birthday in school, it’s the first time he’s taking birthday treats to his class.

This is one of those simple mom things that stresses me out more than it should. Does anyone else do this? I know it’s not a big deal, but since I’ve never done it before I worry about messing it up. It’s Rookie School-Mom anxiety.

Anyway, because of allergies, no edible treats are allowed, which means the traditional cupcake is a no-go. Instead, we picked up some little bubble favors at Target to give to his classmates.

And I whipped up some little tags to tie on to each one. I think they turned out pretty cute, and they were suuuuuuuper easy to put together (much easier than cupcakes!). Especially because I used my Silhouette to cut out the tags.

By the way, have I mentioned lately how cool the print and cut feature is? It kind of blows my mind every time I use it. Here’s how it works: when you print the design, the printer also prints little registration marks on the borders of the paper. Then, you load the printed paper into the Silhouette, which uses a sensor to ensure the machine cuts in the right place. Cool, right?

If you want to make some of these little bubble treats (they would also make cute little party favors!), you can get the Silhouette Studio Print and Cut file HERE. Or you get the PDF file HERE.

And, can I just say? Sprinkles. I need more of ’em in my life. More sprinkles = More happy. AmIright?

Linking up at some of my favorite parties.

Pinned ya! I love this idea. It's actually my youngest sons birthday today, he is 5. We celebrated this last weekend, but next year I will need to make these. Please come share at the weekly Anything Goes party at Bacon Time, if you have not already.

Thank you!!! My kids school also doesn't allow edible treats for birthdays, and I had no idea what to have him bring his classmates. This is perfect!
