This project was originally created by me for Darice.
Is school out for summer in your neck of the woods yet? We are actually on a year round schedule over here, so we have a while still, but if you are finishing up the year now, you may be looking for an end of the year teacher gift. And if you are, good news! I have a super easy, super cute gift idea for you all today.
Did I mention this is super easy? Like go from nothing to finished in 5 minutes easy. For reals. Check it out:
Materials (this post includes affiliate links):
- Red Box or Container (I used red takeout boxes)
- My Leaf Printable printed on White Cardstock (free for personal use only*)
- Tape
- A Gift
Start by filling your box with a small gift. I think a sweet treat or gift card is always appreciated, but stuff in anything you want!
Next, download the tags and cut them out. I designed the tags to say “an apple for my teacher” in the shape of a leaf. They come in two colors (light green and dark green) and two sizes (pick whichever fits your box best.
If you like, you can have your child write a small note or their name on the back of the tag.
Finally, attach the tag to your box. I simply taped the tag onto the handle of the takeout container. Easy peasy lemon squeezy.
And that’s it! These gifts are so, so simple, but I really like the way they look.
If you want, you could add ribbon to make it a bit fancier. My friend Amy of Delineate your Dwelling used the tags with a painted mason jar to make a super cute gift – I really, really like it. Check her version out HERE.
*My printables are free for personal use only. You may not sell or redistribute them. If you would like to share them, please direct people to this post. If you use my printable, I would also super appreciate it if you followed me on your favorite social media (pinterest, instagram, facebook) or subscribe to my newsletter. Thanks so much, guys!
Happy Gifting!
