I have a super fun little paper craft project to share with you all today! These St. Patrick’s Day glasses are super fun to make and wear!
Despite being wearable, colorful, and shiny, they are also really pretty simple to make!

Ready to make some cute paper glasses?
DIY St. Patrick’s Day Glasses
These glasses come together pretty easily with an electronic cutting machine. You will need to gather up just a few supplies to get started.
St. Patrick’s Day Glasses Supplies:
- Colored Cardstock
- Silhouette, Cricut, or Brother Scan N Cut
- Permanent Adhesive
- Shiny Heat Transfer Vinyl (I used Holographic Rainforest Pearl, which is gorgeous)
- Iron (My EasyPress Mini was perfect for this)
- My St. Patrick’s Day Glasses Cut File (you can grab it from the link toward the end of this post)

How to Make St. Patrick's Day Glasses
Make your own St. Patrick's Day glasses out of paper with a free SVG cut file and your electric cutting machine!
Materials
- Colored Cardstock
- Permanent Adhesive
- Shiny Heat Transfer Vinyl
- St. Patrick's Day Glasses Cut File
Tools
- Silhouette, Cricut, or Brother Cutting Machine
- Iron
Instructions
- Cut two of each of the glasses pieces from green card stock.
- Cut the rainbow pieces from colored card stock in your choice of colors.
- Cut the decorative glasses pieces from shiny heat transfer (iron on) vinyl. (If you are new to working with iron on, check out my beginner's guide to heat transfer vinyl here.)
- Remove excess vinyl from the decorative glasses pieces.
- Iron the decorative glasses pieces onto one set of the cardstock glasses pieces (both glasses' front and temple pieces).
- Glue the colored rainbow pieces onto the large rainbow background piece.
- Attach the assembled rainbow to the back of the decorated front glasses piece.
- Glue the second glasses front piece to the back of the decorated piece with the rainbow sandwiched between. Glue the second temple pieces to the back of the decorated temple pieces.
- Fold the temple pieces just above the decorative iron on vinyl.
- Attach the temple pieces to the back of the glasses front piece.

When you click the link below, you will get a ZIP file containing SVG, DXF, EPS, and PNG versions of the cut file. You will need to unzip the file before opening the individual files in your cutting machine software.
Note for Silhouette Users: Remember that you need the Designer Edition of Silhouette Studio to open SVG files! You can open the DXF and PNG versions of the design with the basic edition of Silhouette Studio. Read more about working with different file types and your Silhouette.
