Father’s Day is just around the corner, which means it is time to make something fun for Dad. This cute free printable Father’s Day coloring card makes it easy for the kids to color a fun little note that Dad will love! Just print, color, and gift.
I’ve already shared one Father’s Day idea this year, and I have another one for you guys today! 🙌
I’m all about Father’s Day (and Mother’s Day) gifts that get the kids involved, so today I have a simple (and free) printable Father’s Day card to color that gives kids space to draw, color, and share their favorite things about dad.
Kids are basically the best, so anytime you can get their words, ideas, and drawings down it’s sure to be good. Amiright?
Here’s some proof: for Mother’s Day this year, my daughter drew a picture of me wearing a dress that says “Art Rocks. I blog about it.” It’s pretty much the best thing ever!
Anyway, this little printable card makes it super easy for you to help the kids make a cute little note for Dad. If they are old enough to read and write, they can basically fill it out themselves. If not, you can help them fill in the blanks and then let them color.
You’ll be sure to learn some fun things – for instance, my son’s favorite thing to do with his dad is break things? Sounds about right.
Anyway, it’s really simple to make your own Father’s Day coloring cards. You will need just a few supplies.
Printable Father’s Day Cards Supplies:

How to Assemble Father’s Day Coloring Card
Start by printing off the Father’s Day coloring card on white cardstock (the printable can be downloaded from the supply list above). If your printer will print double-sided, you can just print the card out that way. If not, just print both pages, trim, and glue front to back with permanent adhesive.
The card is 4.25″ x 5.5″ and will fit perfectly into an A2 envelope. Or, if you prefer to add more color to the mix, you can trim down a piece of colored cardstock to 10″ x 7″, and fold it in half to make a 5″ x 7″ card. Then cut the printable up into individual panels and use the permanent adhesive to adhere the card pieces to the larger colored card. This card will fit perfectly into an A7 envelope.
Either way, when your Father’s Day card printable is assembled, it’s time to let the kiddos get to work. They can color the front cover, draw a picture of dad in the frame, and then fill in the blanks in the note for Dad.
And that’s it! Put the card in your envelope and give it to Dad! If you are ready to get making, you can grab the free printable card below. 👇
