Guys. The big night is almost here! Do you have a costume all ready to go? You are probably awesome and all prepared, but I, alas, am not. I had a great plan for a costume to accompany the sparkly mermaid costume I whipped up for my little sweetie:
Even though she wasn’t too keen on the idea (I think it scared her a bit), I really wanted to be Ursula. Wouldn’t that be an awesome costume?! But with finishing costumes for the kiddos and spending three hours at the DMV this afternoon (had to whine just for a sec, sorry), I think I’ve pretty much run out of time to make Ursula a reality. Boo. Maybe next year.
And you know what that means? It’s time for last minute costumes, friends!
Two years ago, I threw together this owl costume (does a pair of glasses count as a costume?) inspired by project I saw on Martha Stewart.
I loved my owl glasses! All I did to throw them together was take some plastic Harry Potter glasses we had laying around (I’m thinking the black 3D glasses from the movies would work well too) and glue on some feathers and a yellow cardstock beak.
