The high was under 100 degrees here in Vegas, so I think that means we are officially heading into the Fall season. Haha… but whether it actually cools down or not, the Halloween aisle I perused at Target this afternoon is telling me Fall is definitely on its way.
I am welcoming Fall with these little DIY gratitude journals that I whipped up the other day. They are in my version of Fall colors.
I kind of love them. There’s a bit of the traditional fall in there (I see you, orange and burgundy), but I mixed them up with the pinks and blues I can’t get away from.
I decided to turn my notebooks into gratitude journals because while I know we tend to wait until November to think about all we have and al that we are grateful for, it seemed like a good thing to start right now. I started my gratitude journal today, and I am going to write at least one thing I am grateful for every day up to Thanksgiving. I have a feeling that I’m going to learn somethings, and I can’t wait to see how it goes.
Have you kept a gratitude journal before? If so, how did it go for your? I want to hear about it! Tell me about it in the comments, and then head on over to Crafts Unleashed to get the full tutorial for these cute DIY gratitude journals (there’s a free printable too!)
Happy Making!
