As expected, I am behind on the crochet a long. I’ll get there! Here are the squares for days 3-5.
Day 3: Maggie’s Square
I don’t think this square looks super exciting, but it was fun to crochet. The crossed double crochet stitches were different and I always like crocheting in the back loops.
Day 4: Blooming Granny
I do really like the way this one turned out, but if I were doing it again, I might switch some of my colors around. I started this one before my yarn had arrived so I was bit limited in my options. The “leafy” round was my favorite part.
Day 5: Starfire
This may be my favorite square so far. Isn’t it purty? I could see a whole afghan made up of these motifs.
So, Day 11 and 5.5 squares done. I guess I better get moving!
